What is the MCAT-Review.org Committee?

A group of students who review every tips and tricks that are submitted to the MCAT-Review.org Project.

What are the pros of being in the Committee?

  • You get to see every tips/tricks/strategies that are submitted.
  • If you have any questions on admissions, interviews, etc. Or just need advice, we'll answer and help you out.
  • If you have any questions on what medschool's like, we'll give you an insider's view.
  • Committee members get their MCAT Project refunded after their service.

What are the cons of being in the Committee?

  • You must review every submission, good or bad.
  • It takes up time. But you know, even bad submissions can be helpful, because you figure out why they are bad, and you learn something from it.

How many are on the committee?

15. We want a committee that is manageable in size and efficient in its operation.

Who can join the committee?

  • Any student with a valid .edu can join, given that the committee is not already full.

How long is committee membership?

  • 6 Months. That's usually how long it takes to prepare for the MCAT.
  • Membership can be renewed if you are actively contributing and you want to remain on the committee.
  • Membership can be cut short if you've already taken the MCAT, and you just don't care about it anymore (we don't blame you). In this case, we'll give you your refund of the MCAT Project early, given that you've been actively contributing on the Committee.
  • Membership can be cancelled for reasons such as if you frequently fail to respond to submissions. Members are reviewers, who should respond to every submission with their thoughts on the quality of the tip/trick/strategy. If you forget to respond now and then because you're busy, then that's ok.

If the committee is not already full, you will see a registration box below. Enter your .edu email address below along with verification code. We will review your email address to make sure it's legitimage, then we'll add you to our mailing list.
